Our History
IQE can trace its roots back over a century to Simcocks Advocates Limited. Following the decision by the Isle of Man Government in the late 1990s to licence and regulate corporate and trust service providers, the Advocates decided to separate the corporate and trust services from its legal services and Simcocks Trust Limited was established. The company was one of the first to be issued with a Corporate Service Providers Licence in 2001, and in 2006 gained a Trust Service Providers Licence following the enactment of the Fiduciary Services Act 2005.
In 2011 Simcocks Trust Limited changed its name to IQE, to reflect the nature and global success of its business. With assets under management in 5 continents, IQE operates on a global footprint.
