A Partnership may be defined as a relationship that subsists between persons carrying on a business in common with a view to profit. The partnership depends upon the nature of the relationship that subsists between the persons who are known as partners. The relationship must exist and must be consensual and therefore depends upon a contract for its creation.
There are two types of partnerships; General Partnership and Limited Partnership.
