IQE Limited and ifina host funds dinner

Posted on in IQE Isle of Man

Following the press release announcing the cooperation between ifina and IQE (see press release), the two companies decided to host an intimate private dinner party for friends and business associates.
The guests were drawn from those sectors most involved in the Funds arena so that an informal but full debate could ensue.
Amongst the guests were partners from the law firms Ogier, Harneys and Kaye Scholer and two senior Deutsche Bank personnel representing fund services and banking. In addition there were consultants from Wentworth Hall and Sigma Partnership, brokers ED&F Man and Tullett Prebon as well a representative from dms Management and the media firm Edelman.
As well as enjoying the hospitality of Durrants hotel and fantastic cuisine, the open forum following dinner raised many questions and a very full and lively debate developed covering the key issues facing the Funds industry today. Following the success of the dinner, the directors of ifina and IQE plan similar relevant events in the future.
Steve McCafferty, Associate Director commented
At a time when the funds industry faces some very significant challenges, the directors of ifina and IQE believe it is even more important to stay engaged with the leading professionals to consider key issues such as the AIFMD, FATCA and to proactively examine ways to assist clients and ultimately investors. This style of event in a relaxed setting provides a great platform for open discussion and debate.

We have the expertise to assist with multi-jurisdictional fiduciary services for international structures

On a recent transaction we worked closely with IQE to set up and run a corporate structure to facilitate a new residential development in London. We found the IQE team responsive and proactive. It was clear that their property experience added value and understanding of the clients’ requirements on the project. Christine Jackson, Partner, Real Estate Group, Lawrence Graham LLP
