IQE Represented at China conferences
International Consultant Sam Critchley was present to represent IQE at two recent conferences in mainland China.
The Zhejiang Investment and Financing conference taking place in Hangzhou, a renowned entrepreneurial centre, brought together some 2500 participants representing Zhejiang based enterprises, private equity firms and financial service providers.
Also present was the Isle of Man Government who, together with IQE, used the opportunity to promote the Isle of Man as a favourable jurisdiction for Chinese investors and to discuss the newly developed EU trade import model for Chinese companies.
The China Offshore Summit in Shanghai, meanwhile, was focused on offshore investment solutions for Chinese clients. With all of the major offshore jurisdictions in attendance, it was an ideal opportunity for IQE to test the water and to develop an understanding of how Chinese offshore investment is being directed. Sam again worked closely with the Isle of Man Government as well as a range of locally based companies to present the Isle of Man in its best light and to develop relevant contacts.
Together the two conferences provided an ideal environment to conduct research and further develop IQE’s links with future Chinese business.
