Posted on in IQE Isle of Man

Launched in 2016, ISLEXPO 2017 was held over two days on 24/25 May. The event which brings together keynote speakers, expert insights and informative workshops, focused on this year's theme “Start, Grow, Relocate”. IQE sponsored a speed networking event called "Fit for Growth", providing a good opportunity for attendees to speak with 12 experts drawn from various professions such as accounting, banking, tax and property, legal and stock exchange, as well as an entrepreneur who has relocated and established successful businesses on the Island.

The Isle of Man is one of the world's leading international finance centres, offering a diverse economy with an exceptional quality of life. With ease of accessibility and a skilled workforce, the Island is an ideal jurisdiction for new start-ups and businesses wishing to relocate to the Island.

A safe place to live and work, as well as being a place of outstanding natural beauty, the Isle of Man is an attractive place for entrepreneurs and their families to integrate into the Island's communities and take advantage of a good work life balance, as well as enabling them to grow their businesses in a stable and forward thinking environment.

Managing Director of IQE, David Karran, said "IQE were delighted to sponsor ISLEXPO and host the Fit For Growth event in the beautiful surroundings of the Villa Marina Gardens in warm and sunny weather. ISLEXPO is a fantastic showcase for the business and lifestyle advantages of living and working on the Isle of Man and it was encouraging to see a wide range of sectors represented at this year's event. The Isle of Man has the advantages of an abundance of space, an established financial services and IT infrastructure, and robust legal and regulatory framework that can support and serve as a platform for future growth and diversification in the Island's economy. IQE look forward to being a part of this and we have a number of exciting initiatives underway, including our association with The International Stock Exchange and working with a BioMed business seeking to locate their business on the Isle of Man."

We have the expertise to assist with multi-jurisdictional fiduciary services for international structures

On a recent transaction we worked closely with IQE to set up and run a corporate structure to facilitate a new residential development in London. We found the IQE team responsive and proactive. It was clear that their property experience added value and understanding of the clients’ requirements on the project. Christine Jackson, Partner, Real Estate Group, Lawrence Graham LLP
