Manx Litfest

Posted on in IQE Isle of Man

IQE is proud to be a sponsor of the inaugural Manx Litfest, set to take place on the Island from 27th to 30th September 2012.
The festival will bring together readers, bestselling authors and renowned poets from around the British Isles.  Those appearing at the festival include Martin Bell OBE, Elizabeth Buchan, Colin Duriez, Jasper Fforde, Roisin Meaney, Trevor Norton, Fiona O’Brien, Hilary Robinson and Jeremy Strong.  There will also be appearances by the UK performance poet Thommie Gillow and the world-class performance story-teller Ben Haggarty.
On the evening of Saturday 29th September, the Villa Marina will host the crime writers’ panel, which has been sponsored by IQE.  The panel will consist of Ann Cleeves (author of the books about DI Vera Stanhope, on which the ITV drama Vera is based); Stuart MacBride (known for his crime thrillers set in Aberdeen “Granite City”) and Chris Ewan (author of the Good Thief’s Guide novels).  It should prove to be a very interesting evening as both Ann Cleeves and Stuart McBride are up for the Crime Writers’ Association Best Selling Dagger!  There will also be a signing at the event.

We have the expertise to assist with multi-jurisdictional fiduciary services for international structures

As Chairman of Greenko Group plc, I have enjoyed a four year association with IQE during which time they not only provided administration, corporate governance and company secretarial support but also the [dedicated] services of Mike Brown FCIS as a qualified and experienced Company Secretary to act on our behalf. Throughout this time, I found IQE and their staff to be very helpful, patient and professional in their dealings. As a London Stock Exchange AIM listed company we undertook several complex multi-jurisdictions corporate transactions and I am particularly appreciative of IQE’s invaluable support on these occasions.
