New Director of Civil Aviation
Recent developments at the Aircraft Registry have seen Hartley Elder appointed as the new Director of Civil Aviation bringing with him 30 years of aircraft maintenance, airworthiness and engineering experience in both the private and public sector.
Having held the position of Chief Surveyor and Deputy Director of Civil Aviation since 2008 Hartley commented:
With the number of aircraft on the Register growing rapidly, the role of Director of Civil Aviation brings many challenges, but I believe I have the knowledge and experience to take on this role and develop the Registry, ensuring it remains a successful and well-regulated operation.
We at IQE wish Hartley continued success in his new role and look forward to an ongoing relationship with him and his team.
The Isle of Man aircraft register was established in 2007 and briefed to provide a register for high quality private and corporate jets and helicopters with a customer focused service. The results have astounded even the most optimistic of observers. As the only dedicated corporate register in Europe and with a justified international reputation for service and quality the register has recently registered its 400th aircraft.
Through its offices in the Isle of Man IQE works closely with the Aircraft Registry and can assist you or your client with the aircraft registration process. IQE can also assist to establish, manage and administer an appropriate structure to hold the asset.
