The new changes which came into effect on the 30th September mean that a company which has its registered office in the UK will no longer be required to have its place of central management and control in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man in order for the Takeover Code to apply to that company.
IQE Executive Director Anne Couper Woods commented; "This is a welcome change which has clarified the position for international companies which will also ensure that the high standards of the Takeover Code are adopted by the companies affected."

As Chairman of a substantial private equity backed company invested in Indian residential property located in 7 major cities, I worked with IQE for 7 years. IQE provided administration services including the provision of a professionally qualified chartered secretary and I found them to be always professional, responsive and knowledgeable. The long term relationship reflected our confidence in their reliable services and proactive attitude. I would happily recommend IQE to others requiring their services.
